Silver Spring Civic Center discussion

As you may know, the staff of the Montgomery County Department of Park and Planning has recommended that the plan for the downtown civic center include more open space rather than build an ice skating rink, as was proposed. Many residents in Silver Spring are weighing in on the differing proposals and one community even started an online poll to gauge public opinion.

I encourage everyone to read more about the issue, take this quiz and add your comments below. I will share our neighborhood’s thoughts with the Silver Spring Regional Center and others.
