Message from Jackie's Restaurant
Dear Friends,
We are thrilled to report that Frank Morales has joined Jackie's as Executive Chef. Most recently the Executive Chef at Rustico, he also held this position at Zola and at the Oval Room, after having been at numerous distinguished restaurants in NYC.
You'll notice a reformatted dinner menu and, soon, the addition of a bar menu. Many of your old favorites remain but many new items have been added as well. Wednesdays still mean fried chicken, and, soon, it will be available every night of the week.
Chef Morales is known not only for his talents with farm-to-table American cuisine, but also for his breads, a wide variety of which we will be baking in house soon (our table bread is already done in house) and for "beer cuisine", the pairing of food to beer styles instead of the more traditional matching to wines. You know we love our beer (can you say Quarry House?), but will be amping up our beer selections at Jackie's as well.
