You're invited to the next South Silver Spring Neighborhood Association social event at Mayorga on Thursday April 24. This will be an exciting event featuring the jazz quartet "Aire Lune" and is also being co-sponsored by the Silver Spring Town Center, Inc.

So come have some coffee, food or drink, listen to live jazz and meet the people in your neighborhood.

The Silver Spring Town Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization which has been formed to provide community-based arts, entertainment and educational programming for the new Silver Spring Civic Building and Veterans Plaza.

Hello – SSSNA will be hosting its next social gathering at McGinty's on Thursday, March 27th. A fellow Silver Springer will also be doing a comedy show at McGinty's, so lets get out and support him! The SSSNA group will be meeting at the restaurant from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and we'll have a table sign that clearly marks our group so it's easy to find us. The menu has a great mix of salads and appetizers with entrees ranging from meat to vegetarian and seafood all with an Irish spin.

So far we've had great turnouts at previous SSSNA Socials with people joining us for just a drink while others have enjoyed a full meal.

You know EVC’s residents are an active part of our South Silver Spring neighborhood, but have you ever wanted to learn more about what makes it an award winning environmentally certified community? Now is your chance to learn more about the building and the people who call it home.

If you're already frazzled and stressed out from the holiday season or have just been working too hard, come out and join us for this casual get-together between 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. This low-key bar offers everything from appetizers to full meals and of course - drinks. Great cheeseburgers, Tater Tots (yum), salads, sandwiches and a huge selection of domestic and imported beers.

We had a great turn out at our last event with 27 people showing up at Jackie's Restaurant.
