The Silver Spring Penguin has information about a new photo exhibit just outside South Silver Spring.  Follow the link for a slideshow and the full article.

A new photo exhibit captures the beauty of area gardens without the sneezing and sniffling of allergy season.

The 17 photos, on display at Adams National Bank (8121 Georgia Ave), are winning entries from Washington Gardener magazine’s first annual photo contest.

Note that at least 3 of the 17 winners were taken by Silver Spring residents and several from nearby Takoma Park, Chevy Chase, and Bethesda. Note also that at least 4 of the entries were taken at Brookside Gardens - technically in Wheaton, MD, but I consider it under the SS umbrella. The show runs through May 25 and is free - drop by anytime the bank is open.
